This demo uses a historical Sparkle Insights study to show how interactive reports can help teams explore findings, compare audiences, and find answers. Your report can be tailored to your research and access needs.

A historical study, a live exploration. Findings reflect January 2022. “Current” and “next 12 months” refer to the survey period. This demo illustrates how research can be explored; it does not describe today’s consumers.

The study behind the stories.

Design & timing

Sparkle Insights conducted 1,519 online interviews with U.S. adults aged 18 and older in January 2022. Interviews were conducted in English and Chinese and lasted approximately 15–20 minutes.

The study included a General Market benchmark and additional cultural comparison samples. The combined Total includes those additional samples, so this demo uses General Market for comparisons.

Weights & interpretation

The workbook provides weighted estimates. The release report describes General Market composition as 61% White, 20% Hispanic, 13% Black and 6% Asian. Detailed weighting procedures and effective sample sizes were not supplied.

Differences displayed here are descriptive. The demo makes no claims of statistical significance or causality. Historical intentions do not establish later behavior.

Audience bases used here

AudienceUnweighted n

The Asian comparison sample also includes Korean n=31, Vietnamese n=23 and other Asian n=48. Those groups are not separate views in this curated demo. Results with bases below 30 are masked as a demo safeguard.

The nationwide survey supports no state, district, or combined ethnicity × age views in this demo. Country-of-birth columns use a different sample definition and are not exposed.

Definitions and reading the charts

General Market: the study's weighted benchmark sample (n=748), which includes respondents from multiple cultural audiences. Asian comparison sample: the additional Asian sample (n=468), separate from Asian respondents in General Market.

Top two boxes: the two highest agreement or likelihood categories on the corresponding five-point scale. Daily social use: multiple times a day plus at least once a day. Percentage points: the arithmetic difference between two percentages. Multiple responses: options can sum above 100%. Unavailable: the source does not provide a validated numeric estimate, or a base is too small.

Report context: study-wide interpretation paraphrased from the release report; it is not a new claim about every audience selected. Planning consideration: an application of the finding, not a tested effect.
